What You'll Be Doing:

  • Empowering Community: Lead the charge in developing, implementing, and enhancing our diverse range of programs for teens and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Your work will directly impact lives, providing enrichment and opportunities for learning and growth.

  • Building Connections: Offer your support and guidance to our members. From physical assistance to leading engaging group activities, you'll be a key figure in their day-to-day joy and success.

  • Leading by Example: As a cornerstone of our team, your leadership will not only shape our programs but also inspire and uplift our staff and community members alike.

Who We're Looking For:

  • An individual with a heart for community and a head for innovation, ready to dive into the challenges and rewards of the Program Lead role.

  • Seeking a dedicated individual, ready to commit their Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 9am to 4pm. Your dedication will fuel our mission, enabling you to be a cornerstone of our daily operations and community engagement.

  • A driver with a clean record and over 5 years of driving experience, eager to take on the responsibility of safely transporting our members to various activities. We'll need you to become a licensed Vanlink Driver upon joining us.

  • Someone who is proactive about safety, willing to become CPR and First Aid certified within the first month on the job.

  • A resilient and dynamic communicator, capable of lifting spirits and fostering a positive, inclusive atmosphere.

  • An individual who is ready to work at a non-profit dedicated to making a real impact, we offer a starting wage of $20/hr.

We provide on-the-job training for qualified applicants who have the energy and kindness our members need and deserve. We're open between 9 am - 4 pm, Monday - Friday.

Compensation:$20/hr to start

Full-time/Part-time

Paid Vacation as accrued

Paid sick leave as accrued

6 paid annual holidays

Partial paid medical for full-time employees

  • Do you have experience working or interacting in a personal capacity with people who have I/DD (Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities)?

  • Do you have experience with work that requires flexibility, patience, and/or fast-paced environments? 

  • Have you had a Washington State Driver's License with a clean driving record for at least 5 years?

  • Are you able to lift 50 pounds, and are willing and able to assist our program participants with transfers for toileting, transportation, and mobility as needed? (We provide training for these assistance tasks)

  • Would you be comfortable driving our Kitsap Transit Access van to transport program staff and participants to and from our community activities? (We assist with the Kitsap Transit approval process for this)
