We are SO excited about October! Halloween is a Big Deal here at Vitalize Kitsap, and this month our Members and Staff are working together to transform our in-person site into something very special dreamed up by our Members during morning Social Club discussions. We're not giving the theme away yet, but we can say that it's a mash-up of two classic films that promises to be both enchanting and a little bit wicked. Follow us on Instagram and Facebook for regular updates as our plan comes to life!
This month, BRIDGE Fitness will feature our ever-popular annual Thriller flash mob dance, and we've moved to hot chocolate as our morning drink now that the weather is crisp. The leaves around the beautiful Seabold Church campus are beginning to turn, and we're all bundling up so we can meet outside and in-person. Remember to dress in layers and bring a mask for trips inside to the restroom. We are all committed to keeping ourselves, each other, and our community safe and to respecting all updates and directives from Kitsap County Public Health and the State of Washington.
We're coming into Power Outage Season here in Kitsap County, and will reach out to individual members if we need to change programming for weather-related reasons. Please remember to check your email and/or phone messages on stormy days in case we've left you a message.
Please see our Calendar page for our current Fall Program Schedule. We're back to 6-hour outside in-person days a few times a week, as well as Zoom sessions and individual Community Engagement and Respite hours. We'll re-evaluate our outdoor programming as needed to make accommodations for colder weather and any changes in public health guidance or directives.
